NIKE AF1 HIGH X FUTURA (BE TRUE)
Good ol' OSneaker! This website is doing big things for the sample game, giving heads the opportunity to rock some heat with one-off offers and pre-release promos. This week the fellas received a pair of Nike Air Force One Futura samples, which offer a completely different twist on the low profile AF1 we featured last week. Looking more like a Bobbito jam than a graff head's shoe, the whole concept comes to life with the signature 'Be True' art work embedded in the Sunny Boy fresh sole. With a release slated for sometime later in the year, you can scoop this one-off sample at OSneaker today.

'Stages' brings together more than 20 of the world’s most creative and diverse artists to create original works of art inspired by Armstrong and his mission to raise awareness of the global cancer burden. This unique project brings together the world of art, philanthropy and sport, in a way never before seen, to create artwork that represents the power of human potential in overcoming adversity. Artists participating in the 'Stages' tour include names such as Shepard Fairey, Damien Hirst, Tom Sachs, Barry McGee and Marc Newson. All artists will begin working on their pieces between now and July, leading to an exhibition at the world renowned Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery in Paris on July 16th, 2009. Once it’s unveiled in Paris, each one-of-a-kind work of art will go on sale with proceeds benefiting the LAF. The exhibit will also travel to New York, Portland, Oregon and LA with final dates to be announced.
'This year it’s about more than winning the race. It’s about people coming together to use our talents and abilities for a cause bigger than ourselves and doing everything within our power to help those in their fight to overcome cancer,' said Lance Armstrong. 'This endeavor will help raise awareness and much needed funds for the foundation and those who need it most, researchers, patients, and their families.' To further support the fight against cancer, Nike is releasing two sportswear collections, all proceeds of which will be contributed to the LAF. There will be a 'Hope Rides Again' apparel and footwear collection and footwear 'Greatest Hits' pack.

NIKE LIVESTRONG AIR FORCE 1
Eddie Cruz and UNDFTD have held a strong position in street culture on the West Coast. Having worked with Nike in the past, the two have fused together their diverse background's to rework the iconic Air Force 1. This new shoe follows the 'Artist Series' collection that was auctioned for charity in July, and uses the LIVESTRONG foundation as a basis for its' design.
For those who remember, there is a comparable feel to the Nike x UNDFTD Air Force 1, released in 2006. Incorporating the pallet of colors of black and yellow which are so well associated with the LIVESTRONG and the fight against cancer. More notable facet's of design which can refer to the release of 2006 are the 'Shemagh' textile used on the front half of the sneaker as well as the 'ONYABIKEKID' slogan, which replaces the 'ONYAFEETKID', a theme that strongly refers to the origin of UNDFTD. The shoe combines the numerous references to create a unique background to its design.
The sentiment and meaning of this shoe runs deeper for Eddie Cruz, who recently suffered a serious personal illness. Creating this shoe with the intention of raising awareness for a good cause, you could say was extra motivation and the outcome goes beyond the world of sneakers and sport. "I support LIVESTRONG and Lance Armstrong. He was one of the first people to send me a message of support when I got my brain tumor. Lance told me to stay strong.", said Eddie.
The LIVESTRONG UNDFTD Air Force 1 will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Dec. 4th, 2009.

Air Max 90

25 anos do clássico tênis Air Force 1

Air Force One's

G-SHOCK DW-5600 LIMITED EDITION
I’ve never been one to rock a bracelet, floss a necklace, pull off an anklet or adorn my fingers in rings. But ever since I was 15, there has been only one piece of accessory that I can’t live without, and that’s my G-Shock.
I vividly remember that day at 15 years of age walking past the Casio concession at Myer in downtown Radelaide, when outta nowhere, this bug-eyed chunky canary yellow ball-buster watch smashed me in the eyes. I’d never seen a piece like it before – and at the height of the ‘90s where the brand had released over 220 models, we were lucky to get a handful of the selection down under.
I saved up enough scrilla from my part time job at Granny Mays to cop this piece of ballistic plastic fantastic, and so begun an obsession. Throughout my teen years into adulthood, I’ve had over 30 different styles of G-Shock wrap my wrist from rawkus reds, to snow blown white, fluoro pink to aqua amazement. It’s the one and only brand that has been consistent in my wardrobe for over 20 years.
And what a difference those 20 years have made. Having started off in 1983, G-Shock is celebrating perhaps its biggest year on the market with their G-Shock The World Tour. Rocking the spot from New York to London, Paris to Japan, it’s now Sydney’s turn to celebrate the hottest timepiece in town. And why am I blowing smoke up the G-Shock booty? Because I’ve not only been asked to DJ at the event, I have been given the chance to join a select number of artists, musicians, clothing brands and sports identities to create my own limited edition G-Shock. You can imagine the fits of fury I chucked when I found out I was going to join the ranks of A Bathing Ape, In4mation, Mister Cartoon, Redman, LRG, Futura, X-Girl, X-Large, Stussy, Union, KiksTYO, Spike Lee, The Hundreds and beyond! I’m yet to see the final product, but lets just say it’s bright, bold, chunky and in yo face – oh so apt!
The G-Shock The World party goes down November 19th at Sydney’s Carriageworks, and hitting the decks alongside myself will be the ridonkulously talented DJ Dexter and the hotness that is my sisters in crime, Hoops DJs.

Custom black and yellow Frogman
sl8763 wanted a black and yellow Frogman, so he made his own from parts of other models. He used the module from a GW-206K-7, the bands from a GW-205K-2, and the bezel from a Master Blue GW-225C-1. The end results turned out very close to the GW-204K-9 ICERC Frogman. Take a look at photos of the entire process and the end results.
